Hawk von Hawkins is a beautiful 12 month old German Shepherd mix. Hawk is just the cutest guy on four legs! He is so excited to exit his kennel to stretch his legs that he will bark in excitement, making everyone around him smile. He is confident and very comfortable with his surroundings, walking well on leash and eager to explore. Hawk might get enthusiastic about meeting other dogs, barking at them to say hi, but is good when meeting them. Being a confident boy, he has no qualms about being pushy with the big boys but gets so happy when they accept his invitations to play. He is great with females and appears to be more polite when meeting them (what a gentleman!) In his playgroups, he sees himself as a bit of an alpha, despite being a smaller-sized boy, and might put his head over the bigger males to dominate them. However, he is always eager for a round of tumbling and drops the ego front as soon as they agree to play. He mostly ignores the females in the play yard. This funny, goofy pup always puts a smile on our face - he hopes to find a forever home where he can continue to learn how to be a perfect gentleman. He promises to keep you laughing along the way.
